Back in 2015, my spankee picked up this red silicone spatula from Sur La Table on their way to see me for a spanking session. Naturally, a request was made to make their bottom “as red as the spatula” and of course I obliged!
The gesture of gifting an implement to a spanker is always appreciated, but it’s not always a success. I am rather picky about pretty much everything and that most definitely includes my spanking toys. Not all the implements I’ve received or even purchased for myself over the years have worked out. Don’t worry though, when an implement isn’t a fit for me, then I always find it a new home with another spanko.
Honestly, at first glance I didn’t think this spatula would be an implement I would enjoy using, but I was willing to give it a try! Although I did like its cheerful color and the sturdy material, it was not something I would have purchased for myself if I saw it at the shop. The hardness of the shape didn’t appeal to me right away and it just didn’t look like a toy that would make a pleasant sound upon impact.
This all changed at first spank. (See, this is why they should really let you test out spanking implements…I mean kitchen implements…at the store.) I quickly established that the spatula was light enough to use rapidly and vigorously. The handle fit well in my rather small hand, always a plus! Also, the sound the spatula made was quite lovely and the sound the spankee made when it was used on them was even lovelier. I liked that both sides of the spatula could be used effectively, while the angular top corner was perfect for the inner thigh area and the base of the spatula fit very well in the middle of the spankee’s sit spot – ouch!!!
So, in the end this red silicone spatula worked out splendidly and it is still an implement I spank with often. Actually, I have been using it a lot lately!
