Pam Foss, Spanking Sculpture

“Tables Turned is a bronze sculpture with beautiful poly-chrome patina. I created this sculpture in 1990 during the height of the battle over the Equal Rights Amendment. I named the sculpture “Tables Turned.” The sculpture tells the story of how roles have changed in over a century. In 1890 I show a man giving his wife a spanking, in 1990 it is the husband getting a spanking from his wife.” – Pam Foss, American sculptor and writer.
