Louis Malteste was a French author, lithographer, designer and illustrator in the early 20th century. Malteste also used the pseudonym Ignotus, and under the pen name Jacques d’Icy he wrote spanking novels. Below are his illustrations from the 1930 novel Édith préceptrice (Edith Preceptor) by René-Michel Desergy.
As Malteste died in 1928, these were published posthumously and some illustrations are still in the sketch phase. Édith préceptrice possibly contains the last of Malteste’s works.
